The AMF Banquet is held annually to honor Anne Marie Fajgenbaum – whose life inspired the creation of “AMF” – and to celebrate the success of the National Students of AMF Support Network.

Pam and Jamie Valvano, who have raised millions of dollars in memory of their inspirational husband and father for cancer research, will recieve the AMF Service Award at the Banquet and will offer the keynote address.

Proceeds from the event will go towards developing the current chapters of Students of AMF, creating new chapters, and offering new programming to college students coping with the illness or death of a loved one. This fundraiser provides all the funds for the annual budget for the organization. 100% of the time and energy of the Executive Team is devoted to programming and chapter development throughout the year thanks to the success and funds raised at this annual event.

$50 registration will include a family-buffet dinner in the Banquet Hall of Vaughn Towers, a $40-million facility that has been made available at a discounted price for this event. Family members and friends of all ages are encouraged to attend

Raffle tickets will be sold and a live auction will be led by Jim Branch.

Dress will be country club casual.

Cash bar will be available.

2007 AMF Banquet

Helped to raise $40,000 to support grieving college students!

The event, held on August 26, 2007, was held to honor the life of Anne Marie Fajgenbaum and celebrate the success of the National Students of AMF Support Network.  Proceeds from the event went to National Students of AMF to continue to grow and develop the 37 chapters of Students of AMF that already exist, create new chapters, and offer new programming to college students desperately in need of grief support.

For information about next year's AMF Banquet, check this website or contact David Fajgenbaum at 810-0453 or David@studentsofAMF.org

Together, as a community, we can make a difference in the fight against cancer and its impact upon our families and loved ones.
